Sioux Falls, SD Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Computer operation High school diploma or GED Computer skills Full Job Description Job Summary Greet and assist customers with various transactions. Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Review loan documents, extensive administrative and phone work involved in servicing the loan files. Providing customer service to the loan borrowers. Job Responsibilities Provide the highest level of quality customer service. Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bank. Prepare monthly reports. Maintain a well-developed knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered by the bank; taking the responsibility to keep up to date on all changes. Answer customer inquiries/concerns regarding interest rates, loan balances, checking and savings account matters, ordering bank cards and/or checks, and assist customer with all inquiries via walk-in or telephone. Process all transactions pertaining to cash, cash items, checking and savings deposits (includes night deposit bag and mail deposits) telephone transfers, bonds, and various types of payments in accordance with bank procedures. Balance all teller transactions daily. Ensure transactions are done promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures. Receive and count cash at beginning and end of each shift. Establish new banking relationships that will be profitable to the bank. Refer customers to appropriate staff as needed. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training. Establish loan files manually and electronically and order all exhibits soon after file is received. Develop and oversee loan disbursements, documents, and reports along with obtaining credit and financial information as required. Ensure loans are processed as per established bank procedures, policies, and approval. Process, close, present, service and record loan related notes and disbursements. Provide administrative as well as operational support for all loans. Daily loan balancing and maintenance of loan accounts. Be available to travel to any branch location for support as requested by management. Other duties as assigned by your manager. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail a must. Must have great time management skills. Possess strong problem-solving skills. Education and Experience High School diploma required, college degree preferred. 3 years of customer service experience required. 2 years of banking experience preferred. Some clerical, administrative, cash handling and customer service. Knowledge of customer service principles Relevant computer skills required. Physical Demands and Work Environment Prolonged periods of standing/sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to travel to branch locations.
