Job Description
Job Overview As a Teller/Member Services Representative (MSR), you are the first point of contact for our members and play a key role in providing exceptional member service and support. You will assist members with their inquiries, promote financial products, and ensure a positive credit union experience. Duties Accurately process routine teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments Balance cash drawer daily, adhering to internal controls and security procedures Open/Close accounts including checking, savings, certificates and IRAs Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures and federal/state regulations Maintain confidentiality of member and credit union information Identify opportunities to recommend financial products and services Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring cash and check transactions and identifying suspicious activity Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred Banking or credit union experience a plus Ability to work in a team environment, while being self-motivated Comfortable with computer systems and multiple programs Join us as a Teller/MSR and be part of a team committed to providing excellent member service to our valued members.
