Job Summary:
As an IBC teller, you'll be the face of our bank, building meaningful relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service. Whether you're processing transactions or helping a customer understand their banking options, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact in your community. In this role, you'll also work closely with your team, learning new skills and contributing to the branch's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service while processing routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
  • Answer customer inquiries and help educate them about IBC's products and services.
  • Ensure the accuracy of customer transactions and assist in resolving customer inquiries.
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
  • Assist with branch operations, including maintaining accurate cash records and following security protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet branch goals and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives, reinforcing IBC's commitment to giving back.

          Skills and Qualifications:
          • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
          • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking preferred.
          • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
          • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
          • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
          • Team-oriented, with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
          • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
