The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, cash handling experience and an interest in learning more about banking. Summary As a Teller you are a frontline ambassador of the bank, providing face-to-face customer service and processing a variety of financial transactions. Tellers are the first point of contact for many customers and play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive banking experience. Work Schedule This is a full-time position , generally scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. (hours vary) Saturdays, 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (on rotation)What You'll Do:
Process customer transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Maintain accurate records of all transactions. Balance cash drawer daily and reconcile discrepancies. Provide customer service and answer questions about bank products and services. Assist with opening and closing the bank. Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Six months customer service experience. Six months prior cash handling experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability preferred. Strong math and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure in a high monetary risk environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.What We Offer:

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, phones, photocopiers, adding machines and scanners.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is required to talk, hear, stand, walk, stoop and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights of 5 to 40 pounds. This position involves standing for long periods of time, frequently viewing a computer monitor; requires good hand-eye coordination and good arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp.TRAVEL:
Occasional t ravel to assist at other banking centers as needed.
