$18.00 - $21.00/hr Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Bank Teller / Credit Union Teller responsible for processing member transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. This role serves as the frontline representative of the credit union and requires strong attention to detail, compliance awareness, and cash handling expertise. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist members in a professional and timely manner Process deposits, withdrawals, and check transactions accurately Verify endorsements, signatures, and account balances Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records Promote credit union products (loans, IRAs, certificates, etc.) Process loan payments and generate receipts Manage account holds and mobile deposit reviews Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies Maintain teller station supplies and report equipment issues Process night depository transactions Update member account/contact information Ensure compliance with: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Patriot Act OFAC regulations Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Teller in a bank or credit union Strong cash handling experience Basic math and computer proficiency Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) Experience with DNA banking system Compliance & Screening Requirements Credit Check Required No Bankruptcy / No Collections Final approval required by hiring manager before offer Core Competencies High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong team collaboration skills Professional demeanor with diverse customers Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Work Environment Expectations Ability to work under pressure with deadlines Handle multiple priorities simultaneously Maintain composure and professionalism at all times Ideal Candidate Profile (for your sourcing) Look for candidates with: Titles like: Bank Teller Member Service Representative Credit Union Teller Experience in: Credit unions (high priority) Retail banking (Chase, Wells Fargo, BoA, etc.)
