Teller Supervisor

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supervising and leading the tellers to ensure day to day tasks are completed accurately and within established customer service standards. This individual will be responsible for travelling to our 6 southern branch locations - Menomonie, Bloomer, Colfax, Downsville and Wheeler.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coach, lead and provide constructive feedback to the teller group to ensure they are performing at or above the required standards of their position. Conduct an annual performance review for each employee.
• Ensure employees are completing required training.
• Establish, implement and maintain teller service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and address variations, taking disciplinary action as needed.
• Ensure staff are following BSA regulations and reporting.
• Verify bonds and holds.
• Schedule the teller operation to meet customer's needs.
• Oversee supply ordering for the teller line.
• Approve and make corrections as needed for employee's time on Time and Attendance System.
• Address and resolve customer complaints as needed.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to address and resolve customer problems.
• Recommend service modifications or improvements based on information gathered from customer service experiences.
• Ensure/oversee vault is balanced daily.
• Ensure/oversee preparation for shipment to the Fed.
• Ensure/oversee coin and currency ordered from Fed.
• Audit cash drawers and vaults for area locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requirements include bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience, or 5-7 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Demonstrated leadership skills essential. Supervisory background preferred. Strong computer skills, typing and 10 key skills and good math skills. Excellent customer service and the ability to perform a variety of tasks accurately and uphold confidentiality on/off the job is necessary. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Punctuality and professional appearance and demeanor are expected of all Dairy State Bank employees.
