Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative 100 Hepburn Street East, Prairie Farm, WI 54762 From $18.50 an hour - Full-time From $18.50 an hour -
Full-time Position Summary:
This position is responsible for accurately processing a variety of transactions, balancing work daily, and supporting the operations and service functions of the branch including adherence to all security, reconciliation, monitoring and balancing policies and procedures. Follows bank procedures and policies. Position requires that customer confidence is maintained by protecting transactions and keeping all information confidential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers, answer inquiries and inform customers of product features/benefits while effectively explaining terms/conditions via phone, email and in person. 2. Process deposit and withdrawal transactions for customers including checking, savings, Christmas Club savings, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Money Market accounts, Cash Advances, CD's and IRA's. 3. Process payments for commercial loans, real estate/mortgage loans, simple interest loans dealer floor plans, home equity loans, MasterCard/Visa, Ready Reserve, and SDB payments. 4. Verify endorsements and customer identification in Navigator, place holds and disburse cash, and process CTR's. 5. Complete change orders and coin orders for businesses. Run coin machine and roll coin. 6. Sell, cash and redeem cashier's checks, money orders, Visa travel and gift cards and redeem savings bonds. 7. Assist customers with accounts - opening personal and business accounts, including checking, savings, money market, IRAs, HSAs, and CDs. 8. Assist customers with banking services - including personal and business debit cards, safe deposit boxes, online and mobile banking, mobile and remote deposit, bill pay, overdraft protection, and phone banking. 9. Assist customers with contact information changes, stop payments, wire transfers and ACH transaction disputes (WSUD) forms. 10. Maintenance existing customer accounts for changes such as names, products, POA's and POD's. 11. Create new account files and forward to Rice Lake or Menomonie for filing. 12. Count and balance drawer, batch and reconcile transactions throughout the day. 13. Balance vault, order and send out money. 14. Fill, unload and troubleshoot ATM. 15. Clean coin machines, money counters, teller scanners, and teller areas. 16. Refer customers to other internal staff, such as investment center or loan department, as appropriate. 17. Complete all regulatory compliance training. 18. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and previous cash handling experience. Basic computer, typing, 10 key and math skills are essential. Excellent customer service and the ability to perform a variety of tasks accurately and uphold confidentiality on/off the job is necessary. Ability to adapt to procedural changes. Punctuality and professional appearance/demeanor are expected of all Dairy State Bank employees. Previous cash handling/banking experience preferred.
