Back To Results Controller Job Description Our client, a well established construction related company located in the Huntsville, AL area, has an immediate opening for a Financial Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Present and analyze data to identify actual company manufacturing results versus established objectives. Provide support to develop & track additional cost savings opportunities and monitor progress of current initiatives. Collaborate with senior level business unit professionals to provide insightful, data-driven analysis and support.

Primary Duties Include:

Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. Reconcile and coordinate weekly and monthly physical inventory counts in accordance with policy. Maintain plant SAP asset register including annual physicals, additions, retirements and accelerated depreciation.

Analyze and generate weekly cost control data including conversion cost to help plant leadership team impact financial results. Analyze and submit plant capital requests as required. Execute month end close requirements in compliance with building blocks and internal financial controls.

HR Responsibilities Include:

Serve as link between employees and operations by handling questions, interpreting and administering company policies and helping to resolve work-related problems. Prepare and maintain employment, pay and benefit records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves or promotions. Manage temporary labor needs.

Handle employee relations issues such as work complaints, harassment allegations or other employee concerns in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Advise and collaborate with supervisors and managers on matters relating to organizational policies, disciplinary procedures, performance management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance or 1+ years of experience as a company Controller; preferably in construction or manufacturing industry. Bilingual ( Spanish) would be a huge plus but not required

COMPENSATION
