Job Description

Faulkner University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Vice President for Traditional Enrollment . The individual selected will work collaboratively with other areas of the university to strive for growth and excellence within our enrollment management division. This individual will provide catalyst leadership to inspire and fully engage others in our mission and success strategies for enrollment while managing a comprehensive plan that emphasizes improved recruiting strategies, increased enrollment and retention. We are seeking candidates with a strong skill set in management, sales, and recruitment. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Summary of Duties include:
Partner with other university leaders for institutional planning to integrate the educational, fiscal, and advancement goals of the university Provide leadership within traditional and graduate admissions to further develop community and school partnerships, recruiting territories, and prospective student relations Provide supervision, consistent motivation, and ongoing training for the traditional admissions staff Develop innovative recruiting strategies and maintain knowledge of market trends and pathways to improve recruitment and admission directives Develop successful mechanisms to ensure excellent service delivery to students from first contact through completion of education Oversee the awarding of scholarships; develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient and effective use of scholarship funds Oversee the planning, organization, implementation, and participation in recruitment and retention events Forecast academic program needs as evidenced by market research and student feedback Develop and implement short and long-term student recruitment, retention objectives, and the plans for obtaining those objectives Collaborate with financial aid to develop and maintain admission processes that best serve both the student and the university Possess a strong commitment to the success of our students and work to sustain and advance the University's institutional values Serve as a member of the President's Cabinet and other university committees Provide fiscal budget controls and forecast the funding needs for this division
Qualifications:
