Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Help streamline accounting procedures and improve system efficiencies

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting experience (construction or materials industry experience is a plus) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork abilities
