Local Division Controller - US __ The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial processes and transactions to optimize financial performance within the factory/site. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. The position reports to the Division

You will be mainly accountable for: Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective factory/manufacturing sites. Serving as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting as needed. Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required; Big 4 accounting firm, CPA, CMA, MBA is a plus Minimum 10 years' experience as a controller; with minimum 5 years' experience in a plant controlling environment Challenge status quo with ability to create new and improved processes for finance deliverables Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, expertise in accounting systems and a focus on cost accounting, operational finance and gross margin Able to prepare production and gross margin forecast on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and an annual budget and be able to identify, analyze and communicate variances Proficient in MS Office programs with advanced Excel and PowerPoint and SAP Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
