in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States Job Description Back 9h Plant Controller•Director #6746 Little Rock, Arkansas, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description Westrock Coffee Company, LLC ("Westrock") is searching for a Plant Controller at a Director level. The Plant Controller will oversee accounting matters related to Westrock's manufacturing facility in Conway, Arkansas (the "Plant"). Director responsibilities will include but not limited to assisting the organization with other Westrock locations as requested. This position will report to the SVP of Manufacturing Finance but will business partner with plant operations. The position has ownership for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all work product. This position maintains communication and interacts effectively with all levels of the organization. This position supports internal controls and regulatory compliance procedures, tax reporting, and integration of all corporate initiatives.
Job Duties:
Assist in the financial modeling of the Plant's operations during the build-out phase; specifically, assisting the development of production costs assumptions. Following the build-out of the Plant, manage all financial control and accounting activities of the Plant, including general and cost accounting. Responsible for the following accounts as part of the consolidated group: Inventory held/procured for plant location Cost of good sold/Gross Profit analysis on customers produced at plant location Expense maintenance/analysis on Manufacturing operations at plant location Treasury responsibilities at plant location. Balance Sheet reconciliation/review of reconciliations for: Cash/Treasury functions at plant, Inventory, Prepaid Expenses, PP&E, Accruals, LT Liabilities associated with plant, Intercompany accounting with other plant locations and corporate entity Ensures the Plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations and provide required information Monitor plant operational results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs. Provide monthly reporting to Corporate Controller for inclusion into Consolidated Monthly Financial Package. Serve as point person for audit at plant locations. Manage subordinate teams, specifically the General Ledger Team and Cost Accounting teams at plant location. Assist in and be ultimately responsible for the Plant's financial and capital budgeting process. Recommend and implement programs/projects to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. Other duties as assigned, including assisting with other Westrock business units. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Controller experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Must have a Cost systems background with analytical skills, along with a sound understanding of accounting principles. Advanced Excel skills Experience in beverage, extracts and ingredients industry preferred Experience with NetSuite preferred Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and review of Bills of Material.
