Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This pivotal role involves overseeing accounting functions, managing compliance with regulatory standards, and reporting directly to the owner. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for fostering financial transparency and efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of company's accounting, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and financial stability. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, analysis, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify efficiencies and improve financial performance. Oversee regulatory reporting obligations, including sales tax filings and audit preparations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications Extensive experience with financial software QuickBooks Demonstrated ability in financial report writing, account reconciliation, budget development, and financial analysis. Expertise in technical accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and account analysis. Familiarity with treasury management practices including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
