Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Your expertise will drive accurate financial analysis, facilitate strategic decision-making, and uphold regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to influence organizational success through robust financial stewardship and innovative management. Duties Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Manage all aspects of accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management to maintain accurate financial records. Lead regulatory reporting efforts, ensuring timely submission of reports in line with governmental and non-profit accounting standards. Implement and monitor internal controls and aligned requirements to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and double-entry bookkeeping to verify accuracy and completeness of financial data. Supervise the use of accounting software and financial management tools for efficient processing and reporting. Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support strategic planning and operational improvements. Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any compliance issues related to governmental or nonprofit regulations. Requirements Proven experience in corporate accounting . Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, account reconciliation, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and technical accounting concepts. Solid knowledge of cash flow management, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into clear insights for leadership decision-making. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under tight deadlines.
