The ideal candidate is capable and ready to take on a new role or more involvement as a member of the executive team. Besides directing the accounting and finance operations, this role takes an active role in the executive team of the organization reporting directly to the President.
Principal Accountabilities are:
Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.- Complete charge of all accounting functions
- Prepare Monthly Financial Statements
- Prepare Monthly Managerial Reports
- Close books and records promptly each month
- Reconciliation of all accounts
- Balance Intercompany transactions
- Manage cash flows
- Forecast monthly cash sources and uses
- Process all Accounts Payable
- Coordinate preparation of compiled statements and tax returns with external firm Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and investors Supervise junior accountant
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting preferred Five years Accounting experience Strong abilities in using NetSuite and Quickbooks Enterprise Proficient in Excel including downloading from other systems and creating reportsCompensation Package:
