Full Job Description Description:
The Vice President of Finance is the company's senior executive responsible for overseeing financial operations, including strategic planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, managing cash flow, driving profitability, and governance. The Vice President of Finance serves as a member of the Senior Executive Team.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Coordinating and managing the annual budgeting cycle Conducting forecasting and planning activities Developing financial models and tracking key performance indicators (KPI) Analyzing cash flows to ensure strategic plans are achieved Collaborating with members of the Senior Executive Team to develop capital plans Accounting, Finance, and Credit Directs the preparation of the company's financial statements, including tax returns and parent company reporting Ensures compliance with financial reporting standards, including US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and federal, state, and local tax regulations Oversees annual financial statement and 401(k) audit processes Studies and evaluates long-range economic trends to assess their impact on growth and profitability plans Collaborates with Operations and IT leadership to optimize margins, drive profitability, and achieve long-term strategic company objectives Establishes and maintains relationships with the company's financial institutions Communicates the company's financial performance versus budgets, forecasts, and objectives to other members of the Senior Executive Team, recommending growth strategies, as well as identifying areas for improvement Leads the Accounting, Finance, and Credit teams in the recruitment, development, and retention of staff to foster a high-performance culture Directs and coordinates the annual employee benefits renewal to ensure alignment of company and employee goals
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration required. Advanced degree (MBA, accounting, taxation) preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or public accounting with 5+ years in senior / executive management High-level experience and understanding of
US GAAP, ERP
systems (Microsoft D365 preferred), and financial modeling
