Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Automotive Finance Director to lead our dealership's financing operations with energy and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of automotive financing, ensuring smooth loan processing, compliance with federal regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and delivering exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive profitable sales through effective upselling, negotiation, and credit analysis while fostering strong relationships with customers and financial institutions. Duties Manage the entire auto finance process, including loan approval, processing, and contract preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions, credit agencies, and financial service providers to secure competitive financing options for customers. Lead a team of finance professionals, providing coaching on customer relationship management, upselling techniques, and negotiation strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Conduct credit analysis to evaluate customer eligibility, ensuring responsible lending practices aligned with TILA guidelines. Oversee title processing, loan documentation, and contract signing to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish. Implement training programs on financial software systems and basic math skills necessary for accurate deal structuring and loan calculations. Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling additional products such as extended warranties or insurance policies that enhance customer value. Experience Proven experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within a dealership environment. Extensive background in financial services, including loan officer experience and credit analysis. Strong knowledge of dealership operations, automobile sales processes, and title processing procedures. Familiarity with TILA regulations, loan processing systems, and financial software platforms. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, contracts management, and upselling techniques that drive revenue growth. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
