$125,000•$140,000 annually, depending on experience Linden Oaks is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through specialized education and support services. We are seeking a Director of Finance to join our leadership team•someone who brings both strategic vision and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to step into a highly impactful role where you will help shape financial strategy, strengthen systems, and support sustainable organizational growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Finance serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, helping guide decision-making through clear, data-driven financial insights.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and leadership team to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making Develop and manage the organization's annual budget (~$16M) and long-range financial plans Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and system efficiencies Lead financial reporting for the Leadership Team and Finance Committee Oversee and mentor a small finance team, including billing/collections, payroll, and accounts payable functions Support organizational growth by building scalable financial infrastructure and processes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong foundation in accounting and financial management; CPA strongly preferred Experience in nonprofit, education, healthcare, or government-funded environments highly valued Proven ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on "player-coach" Ability to translate financial data into meaningful, accessible insights Collaborative leadership style with strong cross-functional partnership skills Comfortable navigating growth, change, and evolving systems High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
