Corporate Controller 3P Partners Chico, CA Job Details $200,000 - $215,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Supervising experience Bachelor's degree GAAP Manufacturing Full Job Description Own the daily accounting operations and guide key financial decisions for a vertically integrated food manufacturer Drive efficiency and automation across accounting, tax, and audit to scale with business growth On-site position in Chico, CA; $200-215k base salary + bonus + benefits Position Overview The Corporate Controller will own the accounting operations and guide key financial decisions at a Chico-based food manufacturer. This person will be part of the leadership team and will bring progressive ideas to improve processes and support the business. The role covers accounting, tax, compliance, budgeting, and banking, with meaningful influence across all companies and subsidiaries. Responsibilities Manage the accounting, tax, and audit functions, including training, coaching, and supervising staff Ensure monthly financial close meets the needs of the business, with comparative reporting across income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, debt schedules, inventory, and capital assets Refine financial and operational reporting to provide insight through variance analysis and other detailed analysis that guides decision-making Manage the budget and forecast process across all companies and subsidiaries Prepare bank budgets and other reporting requirements; coordinate all banking needs and manage cash flow on a weekly basis Drive efficiency and automation in accounting systems, with significant ERP experience expected and business intelligence platform experience a bonus Manage employee 401(k) profit-sharing plan and assist with the external audit and compliance filings Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP, legal, and all applicable county, state, and federal regulatory requirements Prepare and assist with annual CPA-reviewed financial statements; coordinate and assist with all company and individual tax return preparation Review and approve accounts payable invoices for payment; manage intercompany transactions and reporting across all entities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree or CPA is a plus 10+ years of direct experience in finance and accounting, with strong people management experience Experience in the manufacturing industry Solid knowledge of GAAP and significant ERP experience; business intelligence platform experience is a bonus Collaborative communicator who builds value-added relationships across all parts of the business
