Job Description

Gpac is partnering with a confidential, growing manufacturer in southern California to identify a Plant Controller . The candidate will be a key member of the leadership team consisting of leaders from operations, sales, engineering, and quality. The controller will be responsible for all accounting and finance functions for two machining companies. The candidate will work closely with local accounting and management and the divisional controller to ensure timely accuracy of the companies' financial statements. The candidate will also manage and develop the local accounting staff, drive improvements, and be an integral part of the day-to-day activities of the finance and accounting team. Travel between San Diego and Los Angeles will be required a few times per month. Key Responsibilities Lead the plant finance function and partner with plant leadership to forecast monthly financial performance Prepare monthly financial reporting and present results to plant leadership and corporate finance Lead the annual budget process and ongoing budget-to-actual reporting Perform ROI modeling and financial analysis for capital expenditure projects Implement and maintain internal controls related to inventory and operational finance procedures Partner with operations teams to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities Complete month-end closures within 5-7 days Support special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CMA 3+ years of manufacturing finance experience with strong cost accounting exposure ERP system experience required, preferably NetSuite or ProfitKey Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to support non-finance stakeholders Proven experience driving process improvements and plant operational efficiencies If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, APPLY TODAY for immediate consideration or reach out directly to Alana Seddon at alana.seddon@gogpac.com
