Job Description

Controller El Segundo , CA Direct Hire Accounting Operations $200K to $250K 04/16/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leaders to understand business needs and support execution of effective financial solutions. Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger reporting and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Lead development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage financial reporting processes including monthly close benchmarking and coordination of external audits and filings. Lead and support the accounting team by establishing consistent policies procedures and a high performing work environment.
Requirements:
A Bachelor degree in accounting finance economics or a related business field. 12+ years of progressive accounting experience including prior controller level responsibility. Possess prior experience in public accounting with exposure to large firm environments. Maintain strong technical expertise in accounting budgeting cost management and reporting principles. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally while working closely with executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Manage complex financial reporting requirements including coordination with external auditors and oversight of reporting timelines. Oversee outsourced tax functions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards. Demonstrate proficiency with enterprise accounting systems and leverage technology to improve efficiency. Lead teams with trust collaboration and accountability while managing multiple priorities. Bring industry experience advanced credentials or leadership qualities considered beneficial for long term growth. REF#52136 #LI-DD1
