Requirements:
7+ years of financial/accounting experience (2 in leadership) + HealthTech/MedTech experience oin a high-growth, venture-backed MedTech firm that is defying the market: we are fully profitable with $25M in ARR. Our technology is currently scaling across the national post-acute care landscape, fundamentally changing how patient health is predicted and protected. We are looking for a high-impact Sr. Accounting Manager to lead our day-to-day financial operations. As we continue our global expansion, you will have the autonomy to professionalize our accounting cycles, refine our internal controls, and mentor a growing team. This is a "player-coach" role sitting at the intersection of complex hardware logistics, SaaS revenue, and life-saving healthcare innovation. What You Will Be Doing Own the global month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and Payroll. Ensure all financial records are maintained in strict accordance with GAAP. Lead the transition to a more robust ERP system (NetSuite/Intacct) to support scale. Coordinate and manage the relationship with external auditors for year-end filings. Optimize internal controls and processes to improve accuracy and reduce close time. Manage complex revenue recognition for our hardware-SaaS hybrid business model. Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team as the organization grows. What You Need to Succeed 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting (2+ years in a leadership role). Active CPA license with a strong foundation in technical GAAP accounting. Proven experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth manufacturing environment. Specific experience with hardware inventory, COGS, and SaaS revenue recognition. High proficiency in advanced ERP systems and financial automation tools. Strong leadership "grit" with the ability to dive into the details when needed. Excellent communication skills to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders. Bonus points if you have prior experience in Big 4 public accounting and exposure to international accounting or consolidated reporting.
