You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including the day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, revenue cycle oversight and regulatory compliance. As a leader and head of the financial department, the ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, regulatory frameworks, and financial analysis to support our team. Responsibilities Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Conduct thorough account analysis and account reconciliation. Lead budgeting efforts, forecasting activities, and cash management strategies to optimize financial resources. Ensure accurate regulatory reporting related to governmental agencies where applicable. Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement. Supervise, mentor, and support accounting and administrative staff as appropriate. Oversee medical billing department and 3rd party billers Develop and improve financial processes, reporting systems, and operational workflows. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to ownership and executive leadership. Requirements Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks; experience with financial management tools is essential. Strong knowledge of technical accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of accounting, finance, or controller-level experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Preferred Experience within a medical practice, ambulatory surgery center, or healthcare organization. Familiarity with practice management, billing, and EHR systems. CPA designation preferred but not required.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
