Job Description:
A well-established and growing construction company is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and serve as a strategic partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and making a visible impact on the business. ????
Salary:
$160,000-$200,000 + Bonus ????

Real Estate Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, billing, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities
  • Partner with project managers and leadership to monitor project profitability and control costs
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements across the accounting function
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting leadership experience within construction, real estate, or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and financial reporting
  • Systems-savvy professional who embraces AI, automation, and process improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and effectively partner with a direct, entrepreneurial ownership team
