Job Description

Selby Jennings is partnering with a boutique investment bank specializing in the lower middle market M&A transactions for f ounder owned and operated businesses . They are looking for a Vice President who will play a critical leadership role in executing M&A transactions, overseeing deal processes, managing Analysts/Associates, and maintaining direct client interaction. This individual will be a key contributor to the firm and should also possess a Generalist or Healthcare foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end sell-side M&A and capital markets transaction execution Manage client communications and internal deal teams. Manage due diligence processes, coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors, and ensure deal timelines are met. Conduct and review financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and strategic alternatives assessments. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on M&A execution. Generalist training background preferred or strong experience in Healthcare. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Open to MBA Associates. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting directly with founders, CEOs, and private equity clients. Must be able to work on-site in Orange County four days per week.
