Mentoring QuickBooks Full Job Description Overview:

Responsible for overseeing all financial operations within a growing organization in the manufacturing and supplement production space. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage core accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The Controller will play a key role in driving financial efficiency, maintaining accurate reporting, and partnering with leadership across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and actionable business insights Perform cost accounting and margin analysis, including raw materials, labor, and overhead Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting/finance team Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to align financial and production goals Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting Experience in manufacturing, nutraceuticals, food, or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferred Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment Pay DOE $70K -$90K KPG123
