  • Carson, CA A family-owned commercial food manufacturer with 70+ years in business is looking for a senior finance and operations leader to join their team.
The business is profitable, well-run, and entering a new phase of growth with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. The Role This is a VP-level position reporting directly to the President. You'll oversee the finance office and carry operational oversight of plant leadership, including the chief engineer and production managers running a unionized workforce of 200+ employees. We need someone who thinks strategically, drives accountability, and builds the systems and reporting to run a tighter, smarter operation. What You'll Own Budgeting and financial planning across the business Payroll oversight and compliance for a 200+ person unionized workforce Supervision of the finance office covering AP, AR, production admin, and scheduling Operational alignment with plant leadership and production managers Driving process automation and AI-assisted reporting initiatives What We're Looking For Proven background in finance and operations leadership in a manufacturing or food production environment Experience managing union labor and navigating HR and labor compliance Ability to build budgets, own a P&L, and hold a plant accountable to numbers Comfort with modern tools, process improvement, and emerging technology A builder mindset. The cleanup is done. Now we need someone to take it further.
