Director of Finance Summary:
Assist Director of Finance in managing day-to-day operations of the Finance Department; directly oversee junior managers and line staff within Finance Department; assume all responsibilities of Director of Finance in their absence
Essential Functions:
Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, well groomed, and ready to be in position Maintain professional relationships with all coworkers Follow checklists and standard operating procedures Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area Prepare and post Daily Revenue Report Prepare and post Weekly Labor Report Prepare Monthly Pace Report Answer and research Chargeback inquiries Manage and maintain Guest Ledger postings and invoicing Responsible for monthly invoicing for Account Receivable accounts Upload and approve positive pay Prepare and pay Sales and Use Tax, Tourism Tax, Occupancy Tax, and Parking Tax Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliation Prepare and post Journal Entries for Month-End Closing Payroll Posting Commission Accrual Bank Activity Vacation Accrual Workers Compensation Promo Distribution City and Guest Ledger Posting Inventory Utility Accrual Management Fee Accrual Assist Director of Finance with other tasks and projects as needed Manage and give guidance to Paymaster and Accounts Payable Assist in additional tasks/projects as needed
Skill Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years related experience Strong communication skills Great organization and customer service skills Proficient computer skills Responsible and timely Detail oriented
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. Must be able to work seated for at least 8 hours. Must be able to reach items at varying height levels (on shelves, below desks, file cabinets, etc.). Must be able to work in front of a computer screen for long period of time.
