The ideal candidate must have a strong background in automotive dealership accounting and financial operations . Reynolds & Reynolds experience is required. Responsibilities Maintain and oversee the dealership's general ledger. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements. Understand and interpret employee pay plans. Perform cash forecasting and cash management functions. Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis. Monitor and analyze accounting data and financial performance. Produce accurate financial reports and statements. Hire, train, supervise, and direct accounting staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. Achieve financial accounting objectives and maintain internal controls. Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures. Improve accounting systems and processes and implement corrective actions when necessary. Oversee all business office operations and personnel. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Controller experience in a franchise new car dealership required. Minimum 3 years of automotive dealership accounting experience required. Reynolds & Reynolds experience required. Strong understanding of dealership accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Suite). Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
