Job Description

Job Responsibilities Lead full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting to leadership to support decision-making Support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis for business planning Establish and maintain strong internal controls around cash management, reconciliations, and technical accounting areas Manage and improve accounting systems (QuickBooks and related tools) to support scalability and efficiency Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes as needed Job Qualifications Proven experience in corporate accounting with a focus on financial reporting and operational ownership Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar systems (NetSuite, Sage, Xero) Solid technical foundation in reconciliations, account analysis, and financial statement preparation Experience with cash management, forecasting, and multi-entity environments Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, lean environment Real estate, development, or construction accounting experience preferred CPA or public accounting background is a plus
