Role:
As a CBRE Finance Director, you will assist with developing and managing all departmental finance functions. You will lead a US-based finance team including the planning of their roles and responsibilities, balancing workloads, and ensuring world-class financial controls. This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. The area of responsibility will be predominantly but not limited to client services delivered within the Bay Area.
What You'll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring ofnew employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assigntasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed. Plan and execute budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning processes, and standardmanagement reporting. Review input from staff and business partners to assist with the strategic planningprocess. Work with management to establish departmental priorities to meet deadlines. Developfinancial policies and procedures. Oversee the preparation of reporting results. Maintain consistent, regular communication with CBRE leadership team, service deliveryteams, and support functions. Work with the Operations team to support initiatives within the business. Execute capex projects under company approval guidelines where applicable. Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers whichimpact departmental and cross-functional performance. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE
values.

Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by theorganization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, andcustomers of divergent interests to reach a common goal. Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problemsleveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department. Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards withinjob discipline. Apply innovative solutions to client requirements and ensure our Finance specific KPIsare performed to a decent level. West Coast preferred Minimal travel to the Bay Area maybe required.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching,mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention ispreferred. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveyperformance expectations, and handle problems. Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multipledepartments results within a function. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel,Powerpoint, etc however since the client operates on the Google suite of applications,experience and prior use of this is preferable. Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such aspercentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Ability to digest and explain complex structures Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $165,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $185,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
