Bilingual Director of Finance and Operations Position Summary The Director of Finance and Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the company's financial management, operational efficiency, and human resources functions. This role partners closely with the executive team to drive financial performance, support scalable growth, and ensure effective internal operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Leadership Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Coordinate external audits and manage tax filings and compliance 2. Operations Management Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and scalability Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives Oversee facilities, office administration, and general business services Ensure business continuity planning and operational risk management 3. Human Resources Oversight Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management processes Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies Foster a positive organizational culture and employee engagement 4. Leadership & Strategy Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making Translate business strategy into financial and operational plans Build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance, operations, and HR teams Present financial and operational updates to executives and stakeholders Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and operations roles Experience in a leadership role within a medium-sized or growing company Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and business operations Bilingual fluency in Chinese and English is essential for effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
