Job DescriptionJob Description Ontario, CA | $120,000 - $140,000 The Opportunity A growing construction and real estate organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional to step into a high-impact Assistant Corporate Controller role. You'll own multi-entity financial operations across both construction and real estate portfolios, bringing technical depth and precision to every close cycle, audit, and cost analysis. This is a senior-level accounting role with broad scope and direct visibility into corporate financial management. Your Day-to-Day Prepare closing statements and loan closing journal entries with accuracy and timeliness Manage job cost accounting across active construction and real estate projects Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors Support corporate banking functions and contribute to financial reporting across entities Oversee cost segregation studies and property tax appeal processes Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain accurate financial records for multiple legal entities What We're Looking For Proven experience in construction and real estate accounting with multi-entity responsibility Mandatory proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) Strong command of MS Office, including Excel at an advanced level (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) Solid working knowledge of cost segregation and property tax appeals Hands-on experience with loan closings, closing journal entries, and audit support Sharp organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail Clear, professional communication across departments and with external partners Ready to Apply?
