Full Job Description VP of Finance Location:

$200,000 base + up to $80,000 bonus
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a highly detailed, driven VP of Finance with a strong background in real estate accounting. This role will oversee the full accounting function, lead the accounting team, and play a key role in financial strategy, reporting, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the accounting department, including supervision of the Corporate Controller and Financial Analyst Ensure timely and accurate month-end close Review and analyze monthly apartment operating statements Oversee consolidation (roll-up) of all entities, including P&L and cash flow reporting Maintain and update operating proformas (minimum quarterly) Prepare and deliver quarterly financial and board reporting packages Oversee appraisals and loan draws Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders and banking relationships Prepare ad hoc financial models, proformas, and cash flow analyses Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and financial accuracy Required Qualifications (Must-Have) Extensive real estate accounting experience Hands-on experience with: Cost segregation Property tax appeals Closing statement journal entries Loan closing journal entries Audit preparation Job costing Corporate banking Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Experience working in multi-entity environments Technical Requirements JD Edwards (JDE) experience required Strong financial modeling and reporting skills Advanced Excel proficiency Why Join Us?
