Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance & Operations to lead our financial management and operational needs. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the financial future of our organization, ensuring sustainable growth, compliance, and efficiency across all departments. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive strategic planning, oversee financial reporting, and manage operational processes to support our mission and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a robust understanding of complex financial concepts, regulatory standards, and operational best practices. As a Real Estate company, experience in the Real Estate industry is a huge plus, experience with Skyslope and Skyslope books is even better, but not required. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger management, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Manage treasury functions such as cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable/receivable, and risk management to optimize liquidity and financial stability. Oversee cost control measures, cost accounting practices, and profit & loss analysis to maximize operational efficiency and profitability. Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports, interpret financial statements for executive decision-making, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly across the organization. Manage governmental accounting requirements and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations affecting nonprofit or public entities if applicable. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes through technology adoption and staff development in financial software systems. Requirements Proven experience in senior finance roles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams while driving organizational goals forward. Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, investment management, and cost control techniques. Proficiency in advanced financial software systems along with excellent skills in financial report writing and interpretation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Pay:
$74,666.15 - $125,000.00 per year
