Position Description Manage production of monthly financial & annual budget to achieve BOD objectives. Responsible for the overall evaluation of HR, GL, Payroll, AP & membership accounting functions. Performing reconciliations on all balance sheet accounts monthly, analyzing financial reports, cash flow statements & banking transfers. Signs checks and oversees accounts payable process, approvals & discounts.
  • Monthly all department managers, COO /GM and Finance Committee with Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows; perform monthly reconciliations of fixed Assets, all prepaids, inventories, accruals etc.
  • Perform analysis of each department's activity month and present in monthly financial meetings with the managers & GM
  • Attend Operations, Marketing & Bi-month Safety Meetings
  • Prepare annual budget and Departmental Focus Reports comparing monthly to Budget & Prior Year with ratios and key management statistics
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other special projects as needed.
  • Responsible for AP, AR Payroll, Membership reporting.
  • Annual reviews/recommendations to
GM & BOD
for improvement of the companies' policies, procedures, and practices on all aspects of the club.
  • Preparation of 571L Business Property Statement and cap ex reserve analysis.
  • Manage direct report employees & other employee grievances/issues.
  • Bi-annual 401K Trustee meeting & documentation of fiduciary regulations-175 ees & annual audit.
  • Request bids and review proposals for General liability, Umbrella, Earthquake, Employers medical, dental, vision, life insurance plans
  • Annual Audit by Squar Milner and presentation of Financial Statements
  • Familiar with Club Essential (Club software) This position has access to confidential information including personal banking, addresses, etc.
As well as all employee personnel records, this position signs all checks to vendors and manual employee checks. This individual also takes all monies over $500 to the bank. In addition, this position reviews the monthly bank statement reconciliation of all bank accounts. Strong written and oral communication skills are an important aspect, as it is his or her responsibility to clearly relay information to the BOD, Finance Committee, GOO/ GM, department managers & employees of the business. This position is directly responsible for Accounts Payable & Accounting Clerk. Who You Are You show up on time, every time. You are a team player who brings out the best in those around you.
