As Operations Controller for one of our national clients, the successful candidate should possess savvy business skills, be a highly motivated professional, with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the single point of contact for the client finance team on all financial matters across the enterprise Consolidate and present enterprise-level financial reporting across multiple markets in preparation for QBRs and regular client reviews Partner with site unit controllers at each location to ensure accurate monthly closes and timely submission of financial data Support QBR financial preparation and validation, ensuring financial reporting aligns with client finance expectations Responsible for all cash handling procedures Perform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts Analyze financial results for both internal and external use Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities Review of general ledger and balance sheet Resolving various accounting and reconciliation issues Financial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution Maintain inventory and cost control procedures Performs related duties and special projects as assignedPreferred Qualifications:
Multi-site or enterprise-level financial reporting experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in client-facing financial communication, including presenting financial results to external stakeholders or client finance teams Familiarity with contract food service billing structures, management fee calculations, and T&B rate frameworks Experience working within or alongside union labor environments a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent professional experience A minimum of 5 years' experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities, at least 3 years in a similar capacity Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required; foodservice operations experience a plus Experience with revenue/cost analysis and reporting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel; POS experience a plus Strong analytical and organizational s Apply to Bon Appetit today!
