Job Description:
Plant Controller | PE-Backed Precision Manufacturer | Northern California (Fremont / San Jose Area) A Private Equity-backed developer and manufacturer of engineered material solutions is looking for a hands-on Controller to oversee 2 Northern California manufacturing sites. The business serves the semiconductor, aerospace and defense, and medical markets, generates $160M in revenue and has a clear 3-year plan to scale to $200M in revenue. This is a ground floor opportunity to join a growing platform and build a path toward a Group or Corporate Controller role over time. The Opportunity This is not a passive reporting role. The business is in a professionalization phase and needs a Controller who can take ownership of the accounting function across 2 Northern California sites totaling approximately $18M in combined revenue. You will work closely alongside the FP&A and finance leadership team and serve as a true business partner to site operations. What You Will Own Full accounting operations across 2 manufacturing sites in Fremont and Milpitas Month end close process and site level financial reporting External audit process and audit readiness Cost accounting and manufacturing variance analysis Business partnering with site operations leadership on financial performance and decision making What We Are Looking For CPA strongly preferred Big 4 background ideal Manufacturing experience required, semiconductor or aerospace experience a strong plus Strong cost accounting and plant controller background Comfortable being fully onsite 5 days a week in the Fremont or San Jose area Oracle ERP experience preferred
The Details Location:
Fremont or San Jose area, fully onsite 5 days a week
Compensation:
