Job Description

Controller - Our Client is seeking a Controller located in Santa Maria, CA(onsite). They are seeking someone with CPA license, and ideally a mix of public accounting and private industry experience. The following is a list of requirements and job responsibilities for the
Controller:
Responsibilities :
Oversee the financial operations including Financial statement preparation, analysis, monthly & quarterly reporting, and month end GL Close. Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasting, key metrics, and variance analysis. Work closely as liaison with external audit firm. Strong general ledger month end close for multiple entities. Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts & budgeting. Set and comply with US GAAP, internal controls, and policies & procedures. Supervise department general accounting department including GL Staff, accounts receivable (AR) & accounts payable (AP). Manage all banking and treasury functions. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $110,000 to $135,000 base, plus bonus and strong benefits. Strong Excel large ERP systems. Any experience with ERP implementation would be strongly desired.
Requirements :
CPA license is highly preferred Minimum 10+ years related work experience. Ideally have public accounting experience in audit, internal controls environment, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial statement preparation.
