Controller Kern County, CA $120,000-130,000 + Strong Benefits We're partnering with a growing service company in Kern County seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and support leadership with financial insight. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction with ownership and the executive team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in both the day-to-day accounting and big-picture financial strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Lead month-end and year-end close; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls
• Develop and improve processes, systems, and internal controls
• Partner with operations to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
• Experience in industrial services, construction, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, or project-based accounting is a plus
