Apparel ManufacturingLocation:
South Bay, CA (Onsite)A well-established, high-volume consumer goods company is seeking a Controller with deep expertise in U.S. apparel manufacturing to lead core accounting operations and elevate financial visibility across the organization. This role will serve as a strategic partner to production, sourcing, and executive leadership while ensuring strong internal controls and protecting margins in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in high transaction environments, understands global production cycles, and can connect operational activity to accurate financial reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee full-cycle accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reportingEnsure the accurate capture and reconciliation of high-volume transactions within a cloud-based accounting environmentLead month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, consolidations, and audit readinessManage inventory and cost accounting, including raw materials, labor, overhead, WIP, and finished goodsOwn relationships with lenders and financing partners, including factoring, A/R financing, and borrowing base reportingImplement and maintain controls to validate production cost data against actual expenditures and vendor invoicesMonitor and manage cash flow timing gaps between overseas production payments and domestic receivablesEnsure compliance with GAAP standards across multi-state and international operationsPartner cross-functionally with production, sourcing, logistics, and leadership to improve reporting, processes, and decision-making visibilityPrepare and deliver audit, lender, and compliance documentation accurately and on time BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchLife insurancePaid time off
