Direct Hire A growing, established food processing and manufacturing company is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and support continued business growth. This role is open due to a planned retirement and offers the opportunity to step into a stable, long-tenured team environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities Lead and mentor a team of 7 (AP, AR, payroll, and accounting) Manage month-end, financial reporting, and internal controls Drive process improvements, with a focus on automation and documentation Partner closely with ownership on financial insights and business decisions Maintain and optimize ERP system (currently Syspro) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience in manufacturing or food processing required Strong background in process improvement and reporting automation Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills Ability to assess existing processes before implementing changes Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
