Job Description

Vice President - Investment Banking A leading middle-market investment banking platform is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its M&A and capital advisory team. This role is ideal for a self-starting professional who thrives in transaction execution, enjoys leading deal teams, and wants to play a meaningful role in growing a collaborative and high-performance practice. The Vice President will take primary responsibility for day-to-day execution on live transactions while mentoring junior professionals and working closely with senior leadership. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day execution of M&A and capital raising transactions under senior banker guidance Manage, train, and mentor analysts and associates Drive the preparation of pitch materials and transaction marketing documents (teasers, CIMs, management presentations) Identify and evaluate prospective strategic and financial buyers or investors Manage buyer outreach, due diligence coordination, and transaction workflows Review and oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, and related research Maintain strong, professional relationships with client management teams Contribute to new business development efforts and overall team growth Obtain FINRA Series 79 licensure if not already held What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field 5-6+ years of investment banking or active M&A transaction execution experience Strong understanding of middle-market M&A processes, deal structures, and transaction documentation Demonstrated leadership ability with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and maturity Advanced financial statement analysis, modeling, and valuation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial research platforms (e.g., Capital IQ) Authorization to work in the United States Why This Opportunity Stands Out Play a leadership role in executing complex middle-market transactions Work in a collaborative, team-oriented culture with a strong emphasis on mentorship Access to formal training, professional development, and long-term career growth opportunities Exposure to a wide range of industries, deal situations, and client engagements
