Treasury & Analytics Function Description:
Directs, oversees, develops and implements plans related to key operation and strategic areas of the credit union specific to financial planning and treasury. Has responsibility for Bellco's financial business processes, budget/forecast preparation and administration, profitability management, and investment portfolio/balance sheet management in accordance with company policies and business plan goals. Provides leadership in developing strategies and tactics to actively manage the credit union's balance sheet for profitability, safety, soundness, and increased member value. Serves as owner and contact for key partner relationships.

Credit Union members, department and/or branch staff, officials, auditors, vendors and lawyers. Close working relationship with Credit Union executive staff, board of directors, state and federal examiners.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field.
Work Experience:
15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles with at least 10 years experience in a large ($10 billion+ assets) financial institution. CFO experience preferred.

Office environment, may involve some travel
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the Asset Liability Management process. Provide interest rate forecasts for developing earnings projections and financial plans. Develop and run pricing analyses to set interest rates on the Credit Union's deposit and loan products along with the senior management team. Manage the investment portfolio and daily cash position. Provide leadership in establishing appropriate targets for duration, yield, structure, mix and risk. Analyze the liability/borrowing structure of the credit union including the review and forecast of the sources and uses of funds. Develop and maintain policies governing the management of interest rate risk, liquidity risk and the investment portfolio. Direct the annual planning process, including capital and operating budget and balance sheet planning. Oversees credit union treasury and financial planning & analysis functions, including budgeting/forecasting, profitability and investment portfolio. Develop and implement capital planning and stress testing scenarios to support regulatory capital requirements. Assists in updating financial plans and ensures plans are consistent with ALM based projections of net interest income/margin. Analyze and execute the purchase and sale of loan participations. Provide ongoing analysis of loan originations and portfolio trends to support pricing and underwriting processes. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of GAAP and other finance, budget and cost control methods. Perform responsible and complex treasury management activities. Perform cash flow analysis. Analyze economic data and financial market conditions and recommend and administer investment strategy. Prepare, analyze, evaluate and interpret financial statements and investment reports. Completes analysis of loan originations and portfolio.

Non-branch non-management roles may be eligible for on-the-spot bonuses for extraordinary performance.
