Controller About the Opportunity Our client, a growing, highly dynamic organization in the marketing and media industry, is seeking an experienced Controller to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building processes, improving controls, and partnering cross-functionally across the business. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, deep knowledge of GAAP, and experience overseeing the full accounting function in a growing organization. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll oversight Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead and manage the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and operational procedures Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial initiatives Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping scale the department alongside company growth Assist with system enhancements and process automation initiatives, particularly within NetSuite Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA strongly preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant Controller-level leadership experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience managing audits and working closely with external auditors NetSuite experience preferred Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment Excellent communication and leadership skills EB-1763467271
