Job Description

A well-capitalized, growth-oriented private investment firm is seeking a Vice President to join its investment team. The role offers exposure to all aspects of the investment life cycle and meaningful responsibility within a collaborative, high-performing environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced private equity professional who can operate with autonomy, manage complex processes, and partner closely with internal stakeholders and portfolio company management teams. Responsibilities Lead and support transactions from initial evaluation through closing and post-close portfolio involvement Perform financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and investment diligence Contribute to sourcing initiatives, market research, and investment thesis development Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes Support portfolio company value creation initiatives, including add-on acquisitions Mentor and collaborate with junior investment professionals Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred but not required Several years of private equity experience required Private equity experience focused on business services is highly favorable Strong financial modeling, analytical, and deal execution capabilities Ability to manage multiple workstreams with limited oversight Clear, professional communicator with sound judgment Location & Logistics Role is based in Connecticut Candidates must be willing to relocate to Connecticut, if not already local In-office, team-oriented environment
