While the core business is rooted in home healthcare, the company oversees a diverse portfolio of approximately 10 affiliated businesses, creating a dynamic and multifaceted environment. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for building structure, improving processes, and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations across ~10 business units, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency Lead and mentor a team including Staff Accountants and a Revenue Cycle Manager (billing, AP/AR) Develop and implement standardized processes and controls across all entities Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for leadership Oversee payroll processing for ~40 employees, including commission-based sales staff Partner closely with the CFO on financial strategy, reporting, and process improvements Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls What We're Looking For Strong experience in accounting leadership (Controller or Sr. Accounting Manager level) Experience managing multi-entity or multi-division environments Background in healthcare, home health, or service-based industries is a plus Hands-on leader with the ability to both build processes and execute Experience overseeing billing, AR/AP, and revenue cycle functions Comfortable managing payroll, including commission structures Strong systems aptitude (experience with Business Central, Ramp, or similar platforms is a plus) Company Snapshot ~110-120 total employees ~40 employees on payroll (including commission-based sales team) Fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with multiple lines of business Why Join Direct exposure to executive leadership (reports to CFO) Opportunity to build and streamline processes across multiple entities High-impact role with visibility across the organization Stable core business with growing, diversified operations Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
