This role is built for someone who loves numbers, understands ecommerce, and can turn financial data into clear business decisions. We sell across Shopify, Amazon, QVC, Walmart, retail, and direct-response advertising channels, so the right person needs to be comfortable working with revenue, inventory, product costs, ad spend, cash flow, sales tax, marketplace reporting, and profitability across multiple platforms. The goal of this position is simple: help leadership understand what is happening in the business, what the numbers mean, where risks exist, and what decisions should be made next. Responsibilities As Finance Director, you will help organize, analyze, and report the numbers that drive the company. Prepare and maintain financial reports for leadership Track revenue, gross profit, net profit, COGS, margin, and cash flow Analyze product-level and channel-level profitability Review sales performance across Shopify, Amazon, QVC, Walmart, retail, and other channels Support inventory forecasting and purchase order planning Help determine when inventory needs to be ordered and how much cash is required Track ad spend, ROAS, MER, CAC, and contribution margin Analyze whether advertising is driving profitable growth Monitor ecommerce tax issues, procedures, deadlines, and reporting requirements Support sales tax reporting, tax reconciliation, and compliance processes Understand marketplace facilitator rules and multi-state ecommerce tax considerations Reconcile data between sales platforms, accounting reports, inventory reports, and tax platforms Build reports, dashboards, scorecards, and financial models Identify errors, trends, risks, and opportunities in company reporting Work with bookkeepers, accountants, CPAs, and outside tax professionals as needed Explain financial data clearly to leadership and non-finance team members This role will regularly work with: Revenue Gross profit Net profit COGS Product margin Contribution margin Cash flow Inventory on hand Sell-through rate SKU performance Channel profitability Ad spend

Shipping costs Fulfillment costs Purchase order requirements Tax liabilities Sales tax filing obligations Inventory forecasts What We're Looking For We are looking for a detail-oriented finance and analytics professional who can confidently work through messy data, find the truth in the numbers, and explain what matters. The ideal candidate should be able to answer questions like: Are we profitable? Which products are making money? Which sales channels are actually profitable? How much cash do we need for inventory? Can we afford this purchase order? Are we spending too much on ads? Is ad spend producing profitable growth? Where are we losing margin? What inventory risks are coming? Are we collecting and reporting sales tax correctly? What tax deadlines or issues need attention? What changed this week, and why does it matter? Required Qualifications Experience in finance, accounting, business analytics, financial analysis, controllership, or a similar role Strong understanding of P&L statements, cash flow, COGS, margins, profitability, and financial reporting Strong understanding of ecommerce tax issues, procedures, and compliance requirements Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills Experience building financial reports, forecasts, dashboards, or business scorecards Ability to work with data from multiple systems Strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to explain complex numbers clearly Comfortable working in a fast-moving business Able to work full-time in office in Boca Raton, FL Preferred Experience Ecommerce finance experience Consumer products experience Amazon Seller Central reporting Shopify reporting Walmart Marketplace reporting QVC or retail channel reporting QuickBooks or similar accounting software Sales tax compliance for multi-state ecommerce businesses Marketplace facilitator rules Economic nexus concepts Inventory forecasting Purchase order planning Advertising performance analysis ROAS, MER, CAC, and contribution margin reporting Dashboard or reporting system development
