You will combine analytics, forecasting, and strategic decision-making to optimize vehicle placement, acquisition, utilization, and defleet strategies while partnering closely with Revenue Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Remarketing teams. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex business challenges through data-driven decision making.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You manage and optimize the regional fleet plan, ensuring the right vehicles are available in the right locations to maximize utilization, revenue, and profitability. You maintain and continuously refine rolling fleet forecasts, balancing acquisition, utilization, transfer, and defleet decisions across your assigned region. You analyze market trends, demand patterns, fleet performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. You collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Remarketing teams to align fleet strategy with business objectives and market conditions. You evaluate fleet placement, one-way activity, vehicle transfers, and lifecycle performance to maximize total asset value throughout the vehicle lifecycle. You develop reporting, forecasting models, and strategic recommendations that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field required. Relevant experience in fleet planning, operations, logistics, transportation, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred. Analytical Expertise
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Strategic Thinking
  • Ability to evaluate complex business trade-offs and balance short-term operational needs with long-term profitability objectives. Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required. Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools is a plus. Communication & Collaboration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions. Ownership & Execution
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment.
