• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant / Assistant Controller with 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.

This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while supporting controller-level responsibilities including financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and capable of managing multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage month-end and year-end close processes Oversee general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures Support external audits and coordinate with auditors Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets Assist leadership with financial planning and operational reporting Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices Supervise and mentor accounting staff when needed Partner with management on strategic financial decisions and reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 10+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation Prior experience with controller or assistant controller responsibilities preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines CPA certification preferred but not required Preferred Experience Experience managing audits and internal controls ERP system experience preferred Leadership or team supervision experience

Pay:
